Hi There!

The story of how I got into writing is an unusual one - I was twelve at the time, and up to that point, if you had asked me to write something, I would have complained like nobody's business.

Apart from writing an extremely short fantasy story when I was about six, I had no time for creative writing in school. Those typical assignments that asked me to write about what I did on my holidays often contained details of the food I had eaten and the weather.

It seemed as if the last thing I was ever going to be was a writer. Frankly, I astounded my family (and myself) when I produced the first draft of my first novel and found a love for writing.

That story - which came from a weirdly vivid dream I had one night that I then described to my mother in the morning and she suggested I write it down - changed so many things for me. I remember the feeling of completing the first draft; I still couldn't believe that I had actually written a book. A very short and unrefined book, but a book nonetheless.

I spent years working on that novel, endlessly tweaking it until I got it just the way I wanted. The characters came became a part of my life, and I just knew that I had to write more with them.

So I did. Three books so far, and counting.

After another bout of inspiration, I wrote "Just A Moment", my teen fiction novel, and that was the first book I ever published online. The process was nerve-wracking but intensely exciting. My work was finally out in the world!

I enjoy posting my work online (as you will see if you look through my work portfolio on the following pages) - it's a great way to get people to read and feedback your work. And if you do get around to reading any of my works, please get in touch with some feedback - I'm always eager to hear your thoughts!

Last year, my novel "Never Fall For The Bad Boy" was taken up by a paid platform, Galatea, which was obviously an amazing step for me. It still feels a bit peculiar to say that I can get paid for my writing - for the first time I started to feel like a real author.

But my proudest achievement to date has to be when the first book I ever wrote, the one that started it all, the work that had become my baby and that I had cultivated for so many years... Was published! As in paperback, real in-your-hand-copy published.

"The Past Never Dies" was published in October 2021, and I really hope that if you're reading this, you will go and buy a copy (available in Waterstones, WHSmith and on Amazon).

And this is just the beginning.

My favourite university professor asked me the other day whether I thought I would keep on writing. And I had no hesitations - this is what I'm meant to do, and I'm never going to stop.
